Introduction

Interstellar is a science fiction film of 2014. The film was produced by the legendary Hollywood producer Christopher Nolan. It follows the story of a scientific crew that risks their lives for the protection of the people. The film contains cast members including Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Bill Lrwin, and Michael Caine along with Matt Damon playing the central roles in the story.

The Interstellar film was released under the production houses of Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. The film was released on October 26, 2014. It spends a budget of $165 million on its production and makes $733 million in its box office collection.

Plot and Summary

Interstellar film is a story of exploration, a science fiction part of the story, following a crew of scientists on a journey to explore a wormhole gravitational facility near Saturn. In 2067, humanity faced multiple crises of famine and dust storms, slowly and slowly making humans’ stay on earth much more difficult than ever.

All the crops are being affected by these weather-changing situations. Joseph Cooper, a proud father and former NASA test pilot finds a clue of NASA’s secret facility where they planning to discover a new suitable planet for humanity to spend their lives on.

Cooper and three other crew scientists, Romily, Doyle, and Amelia fly for the mission, facing multiple challenges. They reach the Miller planet where Romily dies because of the giant tidal waves. Meanwhile, the duration of 23 years has passed now. Cooper and Amelia now reach Mann’s planet, they see many things and eventually, Cooper makes his way back to planet Earth where he meets his daughter Murphy older than him.

Casting

Casting is always important for the portrayal of the actual meaning of the story. Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway play the central roles in the film playing the characters of Joseph Cooper and Dr. Amelia Brand. Cooper, a former NASA test pilot, is now ready to take a flight to save the earth from the disastrous storms. Jessica Chastain appears in the role of Murphy” Murph ” the emotional daughter of Cooper who never lets him go anywhere and plays a supporting role in the story.

Release Date & Collection

Lynda Obst and Kip Thorne both agree with the premise of the film as they have both been together in the collaboration of the film “Contact” (1997). The script attracts Carl Sagan, as it follows the latest mystical and Mysterious discoveries happening in the universe.

The film development stars in 2006, confirmed with the joining of Paramount Pictures and Spielberg. The movie changed many directors and studios for its principal photography as it is based on science fiction and its development kept on changing.
