SUMMARY AND PLOT OF SALAAR MOVIE

In the year 1985, Deva and Vardharaja “Vardha” Mannar are best friends in Khansaar, ruled by Vardha’s father, Raja Mannar. Deva promises to return if Vardha ever needs him. In 2017, businessman Krishnakanth’s daughter, Aadhya, arrives in Varanasi for her mother’s funeral. She’s targeted by enemies, but a friend named Bilal protects her and takes her to Deva’s home in Tinsukia, Assam. When trouble arises, Deva helps Aadhya escape.

Seeing the situation, Deva’s mom signals him to save Aadhya and Bilal. He stops the convoy, catching Vardha and Radha’s attention. Moreover, Radha reveals she ordered Aadhya’s abduction to get back at Krishnakanth for something he did to her, with Deva involved. She admits to setting up the situation to pit Deva and Vardha against each other.

Basically, Deva learns opposing the Khansaar seal is a serious crime, one he supposedly established years ago. After the rescue, Bilal tells Aadhya the story of Khansaar and Deva and Vardha’s history.
Bilal tells Aadhya about the history of Khansaar, a powerful city divided among three tribes. Raja Mannar’s family controls it, but there’s tension between tribes.

INTERVAL

In 1985, Raja Mannar took power by killing the leader of another tribe. Vardha’s banishment caused friction. In 2010, Raja Mannar tries to reconcile with Vardha, causing further conflict. When Raja Mannar leaves, chaos erupts. Raja Mannar left Khansaar for a while, leaving Radha Rama in charge. She suggested a ceasefire to avoid trouble, but many disagreed. A vote on whether to keep the ceasefire was set for nine days later. In the meantime, powerful armies from different countries gathered, hoping to take over once the voting finished.

Vardha asked Deva for help, so Deva came back to Khansaar from Gujarat. Deva endured insults from the leaders. Eventually, Deva had to fight and kill Vishnu, who was trying to harm a girl. Rudra blamed Vardha for Vishnu’s death during the trial. Deva, angered by Vishnu’s actions, killed him in front of everyone.

Deva, Vardha, and their friends, including Vardha’s brother Baachi, Bilal, Rinda, and advisor Gaikwad, were all captured. On voting day, Raja Mannar returned and voted for the ceasefire. But Vardha, using his deciding vote, ended the ceasefire.

ENDING

Deva, once banished, returns to help Vardha. A series of events lead to a power struggle. Deva’s true identity as a member of a rival tribe is revealed and then complicating matters further. After the ceasefire ended, everyone wanted the throne. Vardha, with Deva’s help, defeated some men and escaped from prison, killing Ranga in the process. Raja Mannar told Radha Rama that Bhaarava was from the Shouryaanga tribe and survived its massacre in 1985. Bhaarava and his tribe wanted revenge on Raja Mannar. Rudra teamed up with his uncle Om to claim the throne.

Raja Mannar learned from Bhaarava’s associate, Dheru, that Deva was actually Devaratha Raisaar, son of Dhaara Raisaar, the Shouryaanga tribe’s chief and rightful heir to the throne in 1985. Vardha called Deva his Salaar, while his supporters found out he was from the Shouryaanga tribe.
