Introduction

Alpha Beta Gamma is an Indian film with the element of romantic comedy, making it more interesting than others. The Alpha Beta Gamma film was directed by famous director Shankar Srikumar. Though the film casts fewer members the cast names are Amit Kumar Vashishth, Reena Aggarwal, and another male character, Nishan.

The film is produced by Mona Shankar, Thomas Punnoose, and Menka Sharma. Two major production houses Choti Film Productions and Knownsense Entertainment, co-operated to release the movie. Finally, the Alpha Beta Gamma film was released on 24 November 2021.

Plot and Summary

Alpha Beta Gamma is a film with a limited cast, describing the story of a trio forced to live together in a pandemic situation. The film encompasses the difficulties and troubles these characters face and learns about multiple hidden aspects of life. And livelihood that people usually in life never pay attention to and ignore swiftly without much noticing.

The film story is deeply influenced by the play of famous French existentialist writer Albert Camus who had written a play named Plague. In this film, the pandemic of COVID-19 has been portrayed with different angles to describe life with different multitudes.

All three characters, Raviraj Varma, Chiranjeevi Vashishth, and Mitali Chauhan, play the center role in the story and face challenges while in a lockdown situation. Mitali Chauhan, a young pretty girl, is forced to live with her husband, Chiranjeevi, and Ravi, her boyfriend the roof of the same room.

Casting

The casting of any movie plays a main role in establishing a successful journey towards a good box office collection. The film is unique in the sense of fewer cast members due to the pandemic of 2020. COVID-19, which is the base of the plot also causes its cast to reduce to the minimum number. Three actors are playing three prominent roles in the movie including Nishan appearing as Raviraj Varma and Amit Kumar playing the role of Chiranjeev Vashishth. On the third Reena Aggarwal plays the role of Mitali Chauhan.

Production

2020 is the year that marks the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. And it also marks the beginning of this project as well. Pune remains the location of the movie’s shooting most of the time with the limited crew members because of the pandemic. Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, plays a central role in the movie’s production and provides most of the cast for the movie. The film also appears at the 52nd International Film Festival of India.

Ending of the Alpha Beta Gamma Film

The film is special in that it describes the complexities and situations when the movements stop and people become limited to a circle. Where they have enough time to hear each other and to understand each other thoughts and perspectives. Such a time makes you aware of the nature of their relationship.

Mitali Chauhan, a young girl, wasn’t sure about her inner feelings about her husband and her boyfriend at the same time. Before the pandemic she was confused about the nature of her relationship with the two. Ravi, as was somehow becoming the point of more attention for her. On the other side she was also fighting a moral dilemma in which she was ignoring her husband, Chiranjeevi.

The pandemic overall causing the blockage and destruction in the society was somehow providing her. A link to bridge between the two men to understand their inner nature and perspectives.
