JAWAN FILM

RELEASED AND BOX OFFICE

The Jawan film becomes more interesting because of some reshoots for some Tamil versions of the movie. Initially, Atlee, the director of the movie, released the movie on June 2, 2023. But because of the incompletion of some important post-production elements, its release was delayed. It was later released on September 7, 2023, in its usual format of IMAX, 4DX, and other formats.

Jawan film gets positive feedback from both the audience and critics. Especially in terms of cast performance, musical rhythms, action perfection, and screenwriting. Jawan also breaks many of Shahrukh’s set records, especially in his previous movie, Pathan (2023). It earns an income of approximately 1,148.32 crore (US$140 million) and emerges as the 2023 most-grossing movie and the second-highest Hindi film grossing at such a pace.

It also earns the credit of being the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film. The Jawan film received 14 nominations at the 69th Filmfare Awards, and it includes Best Film and Director awards as well.

INTERVAL

The interval of the story marks the return of Vikram Rathore, a new character in the movie. Azad’s new identity comes in front of his wife, Narmada, who now becomes more curious to know further threads of Azad’s life and his reason for taking such actions.

She later comes to know about the whole story of Azad’s turning into that character because of the sad life he has lived since his childhood. It’s further revealed that Azad is the son of Vikram. Who was an army officer working in an important unit of the Indian army known as Special Operations. In a tragic event, Vikram loses his friends because of the use of some illegal weapons on them.

He files a petition against the owner of these factories, known as Kalee. Soon he faces a brutal attack in which he loses himself in a terrible situation. Later, the scene shifts to Ashywarya, the wife of Vikram. Who lives in jail and gives birth to a boy named Azad.

She prepares this child to fight against the system and to prove the innocence of his father. Now Narmada comes to know everything about the secret life and motivation of Azad’s life and his mission. Later, Azad gets captured by the brother of Kalee and is eventually safeguarded by his father. Vikram makes a comeback in the story and joins his son, hand in hand, to fight the tyrant politicians and Kalee.

Both father and son fight against Kalee’s agents. Now Azad captures some factories under the supervision of Kalee, producing some environmental disruptions and creating a mess for the masses. He forces the government to shut down these factories for voting machines. He has recently stolen from the government of Karwan.

ENDING

The ending of the story is the victory of truth over tyranny and falsehood. Vikram and his family suffer all of their lives for the crimes they never committed once. They suffer misery, a lack of freedom, and respect, and people’s hatred toward them as traitors. It adds to the pain in their hearts and their psychological quest to get revenge for their mistreatment.

Vikram, who has lost the memory after passing through the loss of his family and friends. Lives in the northern parts of India until he comes to know about the acts of his son. Azad all efforts are to ensure that retakes the honor and credibility back that once his father had, as being part of a special unit in the Indian army.

Some factories, working in the interest of Kalee, get hijacked and demand to ensure the closure of these environmentally threatening factories in return for voting machines. The deal is easily successful but with the loss of Kalee. Whose vast empire is now shrinking day by day as both Vikram and Azad become a life threat.

Finally, the times come when the old arch-enemies meet each other face-to-face to wind up the old rivalry of destruction of lives. The fight ends with the death of Kalee and the evaporation of his whole empire into dust. Eventually, the whole family gets together, and a happy ending ensures the victory of truth.
