Plot and Summary
Avatar 2 is a movie about the exploration of alien life and finding resources for humans from another planet, known as Pandora. Pandora is a moon of Alpha Centauri star system, filled with precious mineral resources such as unobtanium and its atmosphere isn’t hospitable for human life. The population that lives here on this planet is blue-skinned and ten feet high in height. And Sapiens live on Pandora with the flexibility of harmony with the ecosystem.
These creatures are known as Na’vi. Moreover, the humans launched a program to explore minerals on the planet Pandora. And this program needed some human hybrids to be replaced with the Na’vi. Dr. Grace Augustine heads the RDA program and chooses Jake Sully as his agent to help him fast his empire on Pandora and provide him with all the necessary information to gain complete control over the inhabitants.
The story takes a turn when Jack gets attacked by the Wildlife of the planet. Then Neytiri Na’vi princess rescues him from this attack and takes him along with her. They both fall in love with each other, resulting in a conflict between Grace and Jack’s motives for Pandora’s exploration. Jack now becomes an inmate with the local Navi and doesn’t want to hurt them, which makes Grace mad.
A fully-fledged attack is launched on the Na’vi people many of them get down. Ultimately revealing the true identity of Jack. But later, proves his loyalty to the Na’vi people by using his intelligence in favor of their survivor, making them win against the humans. Finally, in the end, Grace and Jack fight together, when Grace is about to finish Jack, Neytiri joins and finishes him, ultimately making Jack a permanent inhabitant of their planet.
Interval
The interval of the movie marks the point of conflict between humans’ desire for the complete occupation of the planet, Pandora, and Na’vi ‘s absolute resistance against humans. Dr. Norm Spellman and Grace create this human hybrid Avatar for their greed to lote the planet’s resources, but the sudden shift of Jack Sully’s loyalty towards the Na’vi has changed things.
However, he doesn’t provide the necessary locations and basic information, required to occupy the whole planet and destroy the Na’vi community. A conflict of desires arose when administrator Parker Selfridge ordered to destroy the Pandora but met with opposition.
Jack and Grace both deny, and a war begins in which Jack’s true identity comes out as he confesses himself to be a spy. Many Navi dies in a conflict, and human advancements continuously approach them from all sides. Finally, now Jack, who is in love with Neytiri, uses all of his intelligence and tries to convince the trees of souls to help a Na’vi goddess.
The fight becomes more severe and deadly against the Na’vi. And then the Na’vi wildlife joins the battle and turns the tables. Their joining happens as Jack Sully requests the Trees of Souls. Eventually, this helps the Na’vi to extend their rule again. Moreover, they accept Jack’s loyalty and make him a permanent resident there.
