The story of the Balagam movie seems quite fascinating because of its unusual rural setting and the overall environment it reflects. It is the story of a Telangana village. It’s a beautiful village covered with natural beauty, but its residents are still suffering from poverty and many local misconceptions about supernatural elements.

Komurayya is an old man living in a Telangana village. In addition, he is jovial, keeps working on his farm, and is very polite and humble with everyone he comes and meets with him. Aillaya and Mogilayya are his two sons, along with one daughter, Lakshmi, also known as Roopa. His family is now facing many situations and passions through a series of challenges in their lives.

Yes, the grandson of Komurayya, is a bright young man, but now he is involved in many scams, owes a lot of money to people, and doesn’t know how to do this. He returns this money to the owner once he marries and gets the dowry from his wife. But before he could marry, the sudden death of Komurrayya turned the table, and everything changed.

The whole village believes in some rituals that say if a crow eats nothing from the house, it shows the dissatisfaction of the family’s old man. In the further story, many new characters, including Mogilayya, and his wife Sujata. Everyone now tries to make the crow accept the feats for further approval of the marriage. Eventually, at the end of the movie, the crow accepts the feast when the family reunites together, definitely showing Komurrayya’s happiness, as he always wanted to have unity with the family.

On March 3, 2023, the Balagam movie was released across India. It’s the directorial debut movie of famous comedian Venu Yeldandi, who now, turns into a good director. Casting

Priyadarshi works as Gajula Saayiku, who is the son of Ailayya’s and Komurayya’s grandson. Kavya Kalyanram is Sandhya, who is presented as Lakshmi’s daughter and Komurayya’s granddaughter.

Summary of the Balagam Movie

The story of the Balagam movie comprises all the fascinating and charming elements that are needed to make any movie successful and perfect in its shape, character portrayals, screenplay, musical melody, and fine story writing. The Balagam movie narrates the story of a peaceful and beautiful village that changes its fate by accepting the right option for its future.

Importantly, Telangana village doesn’t have many educated people around it, so all the characters in the movie suffer from many challenges, including the factor of village superstitiousness. Komurayya, an old man and grandfather of Saayilu, was a good man of great respect, and he has always been humble with people, but his grandson Saayilu begins in many other activities, leading him completely under the clutches of debt.

He finds his marriage as a source of rescue from the debt, but the sudden death of his grandfather prevents him from marrying and getting a dowry from his wife. Finally, later, the family helps him by convincing the crow to eat a feast as part of a local tradition. Village people believe it is the approval of an old, dead man. Eventually, at the end of the movie, the crow eats the feast, enabling the Saayilu to marry. But now he understands his faults and promises to decompensate.
