Introduction
Ayalaan is an Indian Tamil-language film of 2024, based on the genre of science fiction film, written and directed by R.Ravikumar and produced by Kotapadi J.Rajesh under the supervision of KJR studios. The Ayalaan Film casts Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Yogi Babu, David Broughton Davies, and Sharad Kelkar along with Bala Saravanam playing minor roles in the Ayalaan Film.
Siddharth has the role of voice placement for the character of an alien. On January 12, 2024, during the event of Pongal, finally, it was released. overall, the Ayalaan Film gets positive remarks from the audience and the critics. It’s a new idea for the Tamil Audience to observe the presence of an alien in collaboration with the human. Ravikumar himself writes the script of the movie as well. The Ayalaan film has 155 minutes running time and earned 96 crores in its box-office collection.
Innovative Plot
However, it is a story of a human-alien friendship that helps humanity to survive again amid chaos and destruction. Tamizh, a courteous young man from Poombarai, meets an alien who becomes a very good companion, and begins talking to each other. The alien known as Tattoo belongs to the planet Yddooi, a planet full of resources and happy aliens living peacefully and in a bond of harmony.
Tattoo with Tamizh forms a perfect team and gives him information about the infamous scientist named Aryan and his plans to destroy the planet Earth and its inhabitants. It’s shocking news for Tamizh, both promise to fight till the end. However, a rogue scientist Aryan is planning to destroy Earth with the help of a deadly Nova gas by using a hilarious element called Sparc, which is enough to destroy the planet and its existing population. But Tamizh and Tattoo unanimously defeat the Aryan and protect the Earth from vanishing from the map of the universe.
Casting
In February 2018, Rakul Preet Singh was cast as the female lead character in the Ayalaan Film. In April, two big names in the Tamil industry, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran joined the cast. However, on the occasion of the film launching ceremony, the presence of Bhanupriya, kothandam, and Bala Saravanan confirmed their presence in the movie.
Bollywood famous actress Isha Koppikar finally returned to Tamil cinema after 2001. Moreover, there are many names involved in the casting of this film including Sivakarthikeyan playing Tamizh, on the other Rakul Preet Singh playing the character of Tara. Sharad Kelkar is Aryan, and Isha Koppikar is the character of Eliza.
Releasing & Box office performances
On June 27, 2018, principal photography began for the film before the launch event in Chennai. For the first time in Indian cinema history, the Ayalaan Film uses the Alexa LF camera. Many parts of the movie have been shot in Chennai. This project stopped for some time due to the busy schedule of Sivakarthikeyan and his commitment to other projects. It was released on 12 January 2024.
He was similarly working on the projects of Mr local and Namma Veettu Pillai and another one named Hero. The project later restarts when Sivakarthikeyan manages the financial issues and finally resolves his matters with the finances. Overall, the film made 96 crores as it hit the success in the Box office.
