Introduction

Crew is an Indian film of 2024 based on the model of heist comedy movies. Rajesh A Krishnan directs the film by himself. The movie’s cast includes Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Kareena Kapoor Khan who play the major roles of flight attendants along with Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh playing minor supporting roles in the movie.

What is the story of Crew Film?

Crew is a story revolving around three flight attendants and their personal lives and the sufferings they all passed through and coping with multiple tactics. Geeta Sethi, Jasmine Kohli, and Divya Rani all work for Kohinoor Airlines which isn’t in a good financial situation and is about to bankrupt. Geeta’s husband is involved in the food business and he needs money to expand his business further on the other hand, she also needs to take care of her brother as well.

On the other hand, Jasmine Kohli is a different character, living with her maternal grandmother. She doesn’t believe in relationships. She prefers to live a luxurious life. Divya is having the same type of problems in life. They all need money and their job doesn’t provide them. So they decide to smuggle gold outside. They do so well that suddenly their needs become fulfilled. They decide about the change in their life. Which they eventually make through their constant efforts.

Casting

The cast of any film plays a special role in the film’s box office. In this film, Tabu plays the role of Geeta Sethi a flight attendant. Kareena Kapoor Khan shows up in the character of Jasmine Kohli, another flight attendant who is not interested in any relationship. She always enjoys a luxurious life. Kriti Sanon appears as Divya Rana. She always desires to be a pilot.

However, the environment forces her to adapt to the life of a flight attendant. Diljit Dosanjh portrays Jaiveer Singh, a customs officer who plays a special role while the girls are smuggling the gold to another country. Kapil Sharma makes a special appearance as Arun Sethi, Geeta’s husband, who is associated with the food business.

The film was supposed to be on the big screen on 22 March 2024. But later, the schedule was changed as the film was announced to release on the special event of Good Friday on 29 March 2024.
The movie involves two big production houses for its production, Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films, and a communication network.

The film overall makes a good box office collection as it collects 82.7 crore till 11 April 2024 in India only and it makes 38.52 crore from overseas and becomes a good earning movie worldwide as it collects 120.59 crore (US$ 15 million).

Ending of the Crew Film

However, the ending of the Crew film is more surprising and brings new elements of happiness and joy to the audience. Three air hostesses are suffering from the common life problems that nowadays exist everywhere, in every family. Divya, Geeta, and Jasmine don’t lose hope and make their way according to the situation. Smuggling gold isn’t an easy and good idea at first.

But when their financial condition seems to take them to the worst corner of life then they decide to take action to change their fate. Their smuggling of gold finally improves their financial condition and enables them all to fulfill their family desires according to their need. At the end of the movie, air hostesses come to know that the result that all the gold was being transported to another country was no one’s but the head of the flight, who leaves the country when the airline becomes bankrupt.
